The facility, built in the Albaro residential area, consist of three main buildings - Villa Montallegro, Villa Rosa and Villa Chiara – for a total 8,000 square meters of internal surface and more than one hectare of private park.

The three buildings are connected through internal passageways, hosting hospital wards, specialised healthcare units and medical surgeries for consulting and professional activities.

In 2002 the new physical treatment area was opened (PiùKinesi), while in 2004 PiùDonna, the multi-functional centre devoted to women’s health.

In 2007 restoration work on the service floor at Villa Montallegro was concluded, hosting the CT scan, the cardiology ward, the rheumatology centre (including computerised bone densitometry equipment), the nurse acceptance office and medical surgeries.

A new surgical block will be added after the further extension activities as well as a new covered parking area (35 more new spaces).
