Surgical theatre

This mainly consists of three surgical rooms, fitted with modern anaesthesia and resuscitation units, complete surgical tools, cutting edge electro-medical equipment in the video-surgery and micro-surgery sectors.

Villa Montallegro has a series of last generation video-endoscopy units to permit to diagnosis of the upper and lower digestive as well as urinary and respiratory tracts.

Surgical rooms – where more than 2,500 operations are carried out every year –are equipped with sophisticated anaesthesia and vital parameter control equipment to be used during operations.

The next scheduled extension work includes the construction of a new surgical ward.
